Default Ice Racers Please Read!!

My buddies run knobbie tires and they all angle the screws into the front corner of the tread block, instead of right down through the center. But we play hard enough to challenge snow sleds on the lake, but no one actually races.

break out the power drill and go at it.

I've found that having a few friends help is not a good idea. They dont know how to do it and they really dont care if they screw up.

So pop a top, grab a chair and get screwin'.

Actually it's not that clean cut. Each needs to be put in at a certain angle, certain depth, and certain location on the lug.

Of course if you are just going to be playing or riding with friends its not that important as long as you dont puncture the tire.

depth? you leave em hanging out? u think ur a big bad ice racer? i dont... it doesnt get that technical... its very facking simple and any idiot can do it... dun try to impress others by making them think its hard... dun matter if i am out wit friends or on the line at some national race, if i am hooking up hard then thats all that matters... so go spend your 300 bucks on studs... and hours gettin every presice angle...
imma spend 100 or so and go have alot of fun.

Ok hozed, relax. You have a different opinion, fine. I dont have to defend myself, this is an internet forum. Have fun on the ice this year.
