Limited Edition 2004 YFZ450 (Opinions)
sounds big enough to handle it, even though he's a beginner. It all depends on how he handles himself.Does he have experience on anything else? Streetbikes, Dirtbikes? Is he a speed freak that doesn't use his head? Will he wanna jump on it and tear down the trails... Or will he take his time and get to know the bike?
If he's the latter... I'd say that it'd be fine for him...

The yfz is a great mx quad and does its best when pushed to its limits. It is not the most practical atv for casual trail riding or extended rides.
At that size, it is important that he get on the atv and ride one if possible. Some 5'10" people feel the yfz is entirely too small. Some 6'4" people claim it fits fine. It's all about perference.
That said, its a very good atv and should make him happy.
