just out of curiousity, if the rappy shocks fit the warrior, does this mean that the yfz shocks will too?

I have them on mine but I have yet to ride it since then. I just got my new tie rods installed tonight. I will be looking forward to trying them out this weekend. It took a little grinding on the upper mount and slight grinding on the bottom of the shock. It took longer to change out my tie rods.

Raptor shocks are about 15.5 inches eye to eye. Yfz shocks are about 16 or 16.25 Warrior shocks are 13 or 14. You are going to have height issues with the raptor shocks, and even more with the yfz shocks. They extra weight of the raptor and the adjustable preload allow the yfz stockers to slightly lower the raptor. I suppose its possible to put the yfz stockers on a warrior, but you are really pushing it.

The stock tie rods are pretty weak and bend easily. They dont have to be replaced but you will probably want to buy a new set after you bend the originals back a few times.
As far as install its very easy. Just screw the old ones off and screw the new ones in to the same point.

The tie rods connect the steering stem and yoke to the front wheel hubs, they have nothing to do with the shocks.
You can get replacement stock tie rods from a dealer, but some may carry aftermarket. If you are going to buy new ones get aftermarket.
