Default My yoshi 450 vs. Yfz-450

The bigbore kit, plus the port and polish, plus Beffed up clutch and springs for n02, plus two titanium intake valves set me back a little over 1900.00. That includes labor from yoshi. I am not trying to throw this in ne ones face. I had posted a topic a couple months ago on the the yoshi vs yfz, just following up. If some of the yamaha guys want to get a wound up, good for them. I am not against yamaha at all. It was either going to be this kit or the yfz, also with the constant nagging from my girlfriend(4 years) not to spend the 6500 on a new quad. But what she doesnt know is i am waiting for the 2006 yfz-450 or the z-450 to come out. She will have nothing to say, cause i am just going to buy it..........................."FORGET ABOUT IT".......................................

You'll probably see the Z-450 first.I know everyone is saying that the YFZ will be a true 450 in '06 but, they said that about the 05' also(I'm not thinking that 10cc's are going to make a huge difference).

Yes, crated the motor up and sent it away. The biggest difference in the 2 quads is weight; The YFZ just feels so much more agile than my Z but I think it's just the weight. The Z is definitely the quad for the longer races................

Hey Fly, Digger would beat most guys on a moped. He's just a superior rider to most. The bike makes a difference, of course, but DD is just the sh?t! Agreed?
