i have an 04 warrior, with hmf slip on, k&n filter and main jetted to 155. I'm installing a 12:1 piston this weekend. It came with a 13t primary sproket, I changed it to a 14t, cause with the 13t it seemed i was wound tight all the time. I do a lot of dune riding, and when i changes to the 14t it seemed i could climb better. now the guy changing my piston tells me i really need to change it to a 12t. I really don't think so. I even though about going to a 15t. anybody have any advice on this?

Less teeth on the front = more acceleration less top speed. You should be able to climb better with the stock sprocket actually. Just like a bicycle, the smaller gear up front will help your motor pull you up quicker. It probably seemed better with the 14 from the rpm range you used in the climb. You should have a harder time climbing with the larger sprocket up there.
