Help! ATV damage
#1
Hey guys,
I have an 04 bruin that I hunt with. I was out the other night and had a tree go through my grill and across my radiator. I removed my four wheeler, but didn't check for damage. I drove it about another five minutes back to camp at half throttle. The next morning I started it and it was knocking. I checked and found the radiator was ripped open.
Should I
1) take it back to the dealer and pay for the damage.
2) turn it in on my insurance and pay the deductible ($500)
3) take it to some other repair shop
4) try to repair myself.
Thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

If you have full coverage insurance, turn it into them. The engines on these things get expensive really darn fast. You pay your insurance for a reason. $500.00 is going to be cheap!

Thanks for the tips fellas. I went ahead and made the phone call to progressive. They are sending out a tow truck, free of charge to take it in. Now keep your fingers crossed, I will let you know exactly how much it costs when a tree goes through your radiator.

Yeah I know what you mean, I told my buddy it would probably be $499 to fix it. I can't remember exactly what I paid, I paid up front for the year. I think it was around $200 for comp/collision, and theft. I really only wanted the theft, never thought I would use the comp/collision, because all I do is hunt with it and I am not into going real fast.
