does the grizzly really have a locking diff? i thought that polaris only made true four wheel drive.

Yes, all four wheels with full power. It's awesome. I have been high centered along the length of my machine in a 4 foot deep rut, and I was able to back the rear into the hole a little and then climb right out.

True 4wd, is a marketing slogan....lots of quads have true 4wd.

true 4 wheel drive is not a marketing slogan some 4 wheel drive is better
you need to know which is best

Polaris and bomb have awd type drivelines. They 4wd kicks in when its needed, no control. Certainly not as effective as a diff lock in most situations.

The grizzly, prairie, brute force, and a couple other machines have a front diff lock.
