Well I would sell all of the Quick Silver stuff. If you have kept the stock intake boots you could slip on a set of dual 35mm FCR's that would out perform the Quick Silver 100 times. If you plan to go bigger in the future with CC's you will need a set of FCR's anyway.

Now I just dont understand why everyone bashes the Edelbrock. It doesnt perform that badly and for the larger CC's, they will bore them out to a true 42. I have thought the same thing though. 1BADRAPTOR likes his Lectron, so what would be so bad on say a 45 FCR? Just my 2 cents.

I believe the quicksilver is a tapered elliptical bore. Every bore job on them that I have seen has been to a round straight bore. I'm really not sure how this change in the design alters the effectiveness of the carb.

They worked great on my 690, noticed a nice gain against my stock modded by Sparks carbs.

The intake leaves quite a bit to be desired on its own from what i am told. Get a hold of sixsixt and he may be able to help you with it. A few guys have switched to a single lectron and are trying it out.
