what octane

i own a 04 warrior with the folowing mods: k&n filter,air box lid off, hmf slip on. i'm installing a 12:1 piston this weekend. what grade octane fuel do i need to use, or is 91 pump gas ok.

I know pump is ussualy ok on 11:1 but i dont know about 12:1

I'd try 93 octane and if it pings, add VP Red until it quits.

well, yfz's run a 11.9:1 stock, and they say run 91, if u run any higher ur jus gonna have a hotter runnin motor, but u might not have a problem with cooling as i do here in Las Vegas wit my old warrior
