Default Rear Shock Question??????

I have a stock rear shock for a banshee that needs to be recharged with nitrogen, who does this type of thing, I have taken it to two different shops that said they could fill it and then when I got there they said they couldnt because they didnt know how to fill it without having some kind of air valve at the bottom. How does Yamaha expect us to recharge our shocks? Or are these shocks made to be recharged??? what should I do????

Default Rear Shock Question??????

Just buy a used one from somebody for the time being, and save up some $$$ for aftermarket shocks. MX tech in illinois might be able to do it, their number is 1 815 936 6277

You can have them rebuilt with components from other companies. Works and tcs both do rear shock rebuilds for much less than the cost of a new aftermarket shock.

I have not tried to recharge a shee rear so I do not know if they can simply be recharged. I will bet that it would be cheaper to buy a newer stock shock than it would be to have it recharged.
