raptor the right thig part II
Here is what I would recommend... Look at all the atvs that you are interested in. Compare what each one has, engine, cooling system, suspension, fuel capacity, etc... Go online and search in google or something for reviews of every one that you are interested in. Then ask us here and in the other forums for info about each one. Go to the dealer and see what each one looks like, how it feels and so on. Now when the salesguy starts telling you about why to buy this one and not another one, you will be able to pick up BS if they say something, unless of course hes a yamaha salesman. Compare you prices and also look into used ones, you would be amazed at what some people sell, I got a 2004 Raptor 660 special addition used about 2 times, still had the writting on top of the tire for 5000 with a trailer. This is what I did and it worked out for me.

I'm getting a pair of nerf bars with yellow nets, I'm going to paint the bars that matte or flat black color that the rest of the frame is to make them look good. I also have a new set of handle bars that I go witht he raptor, I don't know what they are called, It says TAG metals but I'm not sure, but they are nice also, they are red and really match the bike well.
By the way, in terms of riding, you can go for a while, I ride on packed gravel, sand, and dirt, grass, some rocky roads, its really nice, handles good, confortable to site on and everything. Generally I good machine.
