Ok i had my warrior jetted about a week ago i checked the plug today it was pure black that means its runnin rich right? i had a shop do all the work but i know they put in a 150 main jet and im runnin a dg pipe should i mod my air box turn the air fuel screw? i really dont want to take it back to the shop. i like to know what i have and dont have so what can i do?

 

How old are these plugs you just took out? How dose your bike run, good or bad? You might try taking the lid off the air box then put in some new plugs and do a plug check.... If you don't want that much air gettin in then just tape the top of the air box with duct tape until you get it right.... Then you will no how much to mod the air box....

 

Last time I looked, you couldn't just take the airbox lid off of a Warrior... (`98's at least) I would definately toss a new plug in and run it for a while and then check it again... If it's running rich... you can try drilling some holes into the airbox lid... and see if that helps out... The 98 is my buddies, and I haven't done much work on it cept help him replace his air filter back in May...

 

well that iknow of the plug has never been changed i got a new one from the dealer the code on the old plug say d8ea the new says d7ea should i use this one or go back i will try and new plug and mod the air box see what happens and how the bike is runnin ithink it is runnin

 

That plug he sold you will work fine... It's just a little hotter....
