new 05 Grizzly
Hi everyone
newbie here, not new to ATV'ing though
I have had a 98 Grizzly 600, just bought a 04 Rhino, put 4 hours on it and it was stolen.
so.......I just bought a 05 Grizzly 660, I am a mechanic and know the reliability of YAMAHA.
I have 1 problem though, I went to install my Warn 2.5I wich on my bike, but there is nowhere to put it!
WTF, my 98 and the Rhino had a mount right on it.
anyway, I have been searching the net and cant find the mount I need.
There are 2 bolt holes in the front of the frame, and 2 monting tabs on the push bar.
Where can I get the bracket for it? Yamaha doesn't list anything for it, and a search of warn only gos up to 03 (I think the 05 is different)
I am in Toronto, Canada
thanks all!
hope to be around this forum for a while

The dealer installed my warn 2.5 with a warn base plate. It bolts somewhere to the front horns and to the tabs if I remember correctly. PM me if you are still having problems and I can take a picture of how it's mounded on my grizz and send it to you. The mounting plate should fit all years of the 660 grizzly because they haven't changed the frame.

Got it all done today, dealer had everything from Warn, dont know why I couldn't find the part # on the net
got a great deal: the winch mount, plow and plow mount $220.00 CND cuz I bought the grizz from themCLARES CYCLE
My Harley parts will be bought there from now on, they are a great bunch of guys MY HARLEY SITE
anyway put everything together, I really dont like the 4 3/8" bolts holding the plow mount to the frame (by the front of the foot rest) It will definentley break, as it did on my 98 Grizzly 600, looks like I will have to beef it up with some arc welding, as I did on the 98 Grizzly 600......
only 3 miles on this thing, where do you guys ride, I wanna play!, never mind just looked at the profiles, mostly Americans, you guys gotta make a trip to canada man, lots of great trails north of Toronto.
anyway, glad I got some responses, I am new to this forum and plan on being around for a while
