Default 03 raptor transmission problem?

I'm getting a slow tick when I ride and it sounds like it is coming from the transmission. It only ticks wile in gear and moving. Motor is fine and it rolls without a sound. Somebody please help. The faster I go the more it ticks and I need to know whats wrong with my baby.

I'd put my money on the chain or sprocket hitting something. Check your rollers, case saver, sprocket tabs, etc.

You may want to check your shift linkage, as it may need adjustment as well. Could be adjusted tight on one end of a shift.

i had the same type of sounds comin from my 03 raptors tranny....the raptor has a default starter and the starter gear gets stuck and grids....thats what mine was doing...if urs clunks and makes all werid noises when u start it and after u start it it did it on mine when it was running, it might be it....when its doing it quick press in the starter button and let go and see if it stops...if it does then its probly ur starter....i got a L&A bearings put in mine and it runs great and starts good
