if I take it off like that I wont be able to put it back in. Can it hurt my quad any and will I have to rejet? Does it make it a lot louder and have more power Art? Thanks

It will make your quad lowder but it will not hurt it. The only problem you may encounter is that some places require a spark arrestor in order for you to ride there. As far as rejetting, I don't know. The reason i'm doing it is because I took off the air filter lid and it is running lean.

So you took off your Air Box lid and your spark arrestor and you dont have to rejet? How are you running no airbox lid with your Stock Setup. I just went out and started beating the spark arrestor trying to get it off. Its so hard Thanks man

I was wondering If I had to take that bolt out in the middle of the pipe. Its underneath and in the middle. Does that have to come out to get the Baffle out?

when I bought the bike, it had a K&N setup, but it still had the Lid on so I just took the lid off.

The only bolt I took off was the small one on the back.

so all you need to do is take off the 3 bolts on the cover and then the bolt underneath the back thing. Dont worry about the bolt underneath in the middle. So if i take it off I shouldnt have any problems in the future and it should make it run better, Dont have to rejet or anything?

I didn't rejet when I took mine out, and had no problems.

The bolt on the bottom-middle is so you can purge any junk thats in the muffler. Supposedly you can take that bolt out, start the motor, hold you hand over the end of the muffler, and rev it up and flush the muffler.

I would say no re-jet if the arrestor removal is all your doing.

Well I finally got it off and man is it louder. I will never be able to put it back in because I broke the whole thing trying to get it out. I was wondering what the DB rating is of a Stock Raptor with the baffle taken out. Should I notice a increase in power to? Thanks guys, Randy
