Ok fellas,

First thanks to all who offered the advice "turn it in on insurance". I did, and I have a five hundred dollar deductible. By the way, in case you didn't read my previous thread, I was hunting and had a tree push through the grill and damage my oil cooler. I did not notice the damage to the oil cooler and basically ran it out of oil

The results? Total engine failure. Everything had to be replaced. You name it. Yamaha called me yesterday and cheerfully told me that the total on the repairs was $2700. Holy moly. What does a new engine cost I wonder???? Anyhow I will find out today for sure if Progressive will cover all repairs.
