Default cool need to know info! a quick fix for a radeator leak!

I was watching mythbusters the other day. it was a new eposode of car myths. they found out that if you have a hole in your radiator that you can crack an egg in your radator fluid and it would close up the hole, this is for only anit-freez not oil!!!! they said that it is not a perminant solution, but it should hold it for a while, and it sould not do any thing to your engine! cool huh!

it works because that when you try to beat eggs if you notice it's so hard to breakup the egg it holds together so well and because of that and of the inside of the radiator and channels are smooth enoghu that when it hits the crack it sticks somewhat and because the egg stays together it will hold the leak for a lil while

IF that is true it SHOULD work... besure that you flush the radiator when you fix it (which should happen neways)

We use pepper for our radiator leaks, it has never gave up problems, and can be flush out when you fix the rad.

Um, fine I guess. It is stuff you can buy bulk, and you don't have to grind down.

You don't have to pour a lot in just probably a tea spoon for a quad radiator, but say like a handful for a truck or so..
