Thanx for your help!

Hey Dude, you really don't need a better airbox for protection, you need to modify your airbox for breathing capacity. The outerwear keeps your filter pretty clean. DG makes an aluminum airbox lid for the warrior but I couldn't find it so I bought a used lid and cut it in half right behind the first three bolts since you got to have that part of the lid to hold the filter in place. Now, throttle resonse is awsome and it performs way better than I had imagined it would. The filter doesn't get real bad dirty, but I don't mud ride either. I run the good lid on it when I'm going to be in alot of sand and water though.
'99 Warrior-DG exhaust, Webb cam, Dynojet kit,
Wiseco piston, K&N filter w/outerwear
'89 TRX250R Fully Modified w/Lonestar frame 330cc kit and much more.

I rejetted to a 160 main jet from dynojet, but thats what worked on my bike. The way to jet a bike is to keep going up one jet size until it cuts out at wide open throttle (WOP). Then back down one size under that jet. If it cuts out with a 160 back down to a 158 for example. All bikes are different and respond different to mods.
