can anyone tell me what sand mt. nevada is like on thanksgiving? we went for memorial day and had a great time, is it that busy? i think we are going anyway but just wanted to know what to except.

If you have a motorhome or toy hauler with a furnace you will be fine. Im poor so if I go to the mountain from Nov-March I stay in Fallon and go out for day trips. The weather during the day is usually nice and clear and around 50-60 degrees. At night I have been there and it dipped into the teens ... brrrrrrr

 

well we have a toy hauler so im not worried about that. im more worried about frozen sand. is that dangerous? and is it a busy weekend? i would go to pismo but cant get reservations. also is anyone going to be in pismo the weekend of nov. 12th?
