Default 03 RAPTOR OIL CHANGE EMERGENCY ???????

im in the middle of changing my oil for the first time myself and this may sound stupid but i dont have my owners manual.
i drain the plug at the bottom of the motor and the one in the oil case up above. but the only place i can find to re enter the oil is on top of that oil case. is this the only place to put in the new oil? it only took two quarts and it is now overflowing. i know it takes more then that to fill it. info is much appreciated. thanks.

sorry for the stupid post but i need help. thanks again

james

You add the oil to the tank in front of the engine. Add as much as you can, put the dipstick back in, start and idle for a few seconds, shut off and add the rest. Should be in the neighborhood of 2.2 quarts.

Yes that is the only play to fill it. You have to put some in the tank and the start it and let it run for a few seconds, then add more oil

Hello dyslexia. Wow, clean the oil off your fingers so they don't slip off the keys. Might be able to spell a little better that way. j/k
