I would say no, it really dosn't have any ***** until it comes on the pipe, then it screams. If it falls out of the powerband on a hill your screwed.

I've rode with a Younger kid that drove a blaster, and two with 250ex's, the Blaster definately held its own over the 250s.

i can drive a manual. but does the balster have good low/end mid range?
Its a two stroke, so compared to its overall power distribution, it lacks low end. A pipe change can change much of that, like the fmf gnarly. The power of the blaster is easily superior to the 250 class machines, and that is where you can make up any low end losses you may have. But a properly tuned and piped blaster can give you all the low end a small atv needs.

Sorry, I was thinking the sst, which gives great low end and midrange unlike the fatty which is mostly top end.

There are other pipe manufacturers that make good low end pipes for the blaster as well. Trenga has a good list of blaster pipes.

Like i said my blaster does just fine, the pipe does make a good difference....i took my freinds pipped warrior(PC T-4) for a spin in trails and i personally like my blaster better then that...well it might be cause of my fetish for powerband....

Saying a 2-stroke is no good in trails is just a excusse for not being able to drive. It's all in the clutch, you just gotta know how to use it and keep the revs up.
