All quads have their good and bad points....a potential buyer needs the good AND bad info.

its a little tippy on turns with the Independent Suspension font and rear but its ability to take to the trails is great. I dont see any reason someone should need more than 660cc. Ive made every hill and every mudhole ive every come across in the trails on a grizz.

i have a 04 grizzly and my buddy has the new polaris 700. the 700 is a little faster but when riding it you feel like your on a tank. the things is around 700 pounds. it just to heavy to really ride around in tight places or steep hills. i wouldnt trade my grizz for nothing.

Theres really an opcion for 3wd?!? Whats it used for?
Youre right, theres no 3 wd option, I figured because I was talking to a former polaris guy, Id use their euphinisms, for other 4wd systems.
Its 2wd, 4wd(without locked front end), and 4wd with front end locked. The reason they call it 3wd, is because if one front tire lifts off the ground, or hits a slippery patch, the other wont pull. As long as both fronts have somewhat equal traction, its 4wd.

ride one for a day. All day and you'll be convinced. It's the better one at the end of the day.

I rode a 2001 500 HO for 3,200 miles and a 2003 700 for 2,000 miles, but now I've ridden my 04 grizzly 700 miles and now I'm happy. The only thing inferior on the grizzly compared to my sportsmans is the stock headlights, but I took care of that with PIAA bulbs and a set of KC driving lights.

Thanks once again for all your replys.I have owned many Polaris' during the past few years.Maybe I kept going back because the dealer here is so helpful and will go out of their way to make it right. It's not that I don't like Polaris,I think it's time for a change. The Grizz is much lighter in both wieght and steering, plus the tried and true 660 doesn't hurt either. Thanks again,I will soon be off to the dealer to get my new Grizzly!
