I believe warrior is a good trail quad, but not the best. I think the 05 400ex is better since it has reverse now...but its better than some

The warrior is 405lbs dry weight and and the wolverine is 477 lbs. That isn't MUCH MUCH HEAVIER, besides for 4x4, bigger tires, a back rack, and a extra gallon of gas in the tank, it is well worth 72 lbs. For you to say the wolverine lacks speed, I doubt you have ever driven one.

Heatseeker,

Please get your info straight before chiming in on the discussion. The new raptor 350 weighs 375 lbs dry, this discussion about a warrior which is 405 lbs Dry. They are similar, but they are NOT the same quad.

Well, I've got both the Wolverine & Warrior. The weight isn't very noticible unless you're in some really tight trails or jumping anything over 4' high, and that's more the 7" of travel than the weight difference of the Wolverine. If it's rained a lot and the trails are filled with water or we're doing some climbing over dirt piles, rocks, or ditches I take the Wolverine. If the trails are drier or I want to catch air over 4' I take the Warrior. They're both very good all around machines.
