Banshee problems

Default Banshee problems

Just put a knew top end on my 01 Banshee. I went 60 over has pipes and is jetted. I have a hard time getting it to cold crank, after i get it running it runs great and if i shut it off and go to start it back up it will fire right up can't figure out the problem

Default Banshee problems

Clean out your carbs out real good, your pilot jet may be cloged, also check the choke plunger to make sure it's sealing, and last make sure the reeds are not cracked or chiped and that they are closing enough to seal.

And after you do that, put an hour or so on the engine to seat the rings and then do a compression check..

Default Banshee problems

If you didnt replace the pilot jets I would go to a 35 and that will greatly help your cold start and bottom end response in the cooler weather. You might have to play with the needles and/or air screws.

Default Banshee problems

I figured the problem out. Whoever had the SHEE before me switched the carb bowls when they were cleaning them. One of the carb bowls has a jet in the bottom of it, and that bowl has to be on the carb with the choke lever. So if anyone ever cleans there carbs and switches out the bowls it will be damn near impossible to crank the SHEE! thanks for all yalls info
