...so, its been a while, I think the last time I was on here, was last june? well, I finished my MOSQ(military occupational status qualification) at ft. benning, for 11b/11c infantry, and now am attending automotive training center. Just by looking around the site, it seems that there are quite a few new members, and alot of the same, along with the same old, "whats better/badder/faster?" topics(we all know the banshee wins[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]) Now, onto why I've really posted. I have been riding my banshee pretty hard since early september. I think its about time to rebuild the whole thing. I'm thinking about a black and blue(like a bruise) sceme, with enough bling to make it look appealing. My neighbor just redid her's that she just bought(who ever had it before her used black rtv to hold the cases together, instead of yamabond, and it sucked air, leaned out, and left her with 2 dime sized holes in her vito's pistons) and is beautiful. It also has close to 65hp. Yes, its faster than mine...alot. I can't have that(not that I'm sexest, or anything of that sort) for that we're allways trying to outdo each other. I'm gonna try to match the powdercoat to ford blue(what color my frame is now) and black, with some chrome and polished aluminum. Does anyone know where I can get some 28mm keihn carbs for banshees?(not the blaster version, yes, they are different) Also, who here has a stroker crank? and do they rev out as high as a welded/balanced/trued crank? Ok, thats all I have for now, and has anyone else redone their ride recently? or plan to?
