I need to know your guys opinion about buying a raptor or a yfz. Im kinda leaning towards the yfz but then again I like some things about the raptor. Im about 6'2" 210. I do all types of riding so I need something thats gonna be able to handle my size. Also I wanted to know which one I could get the most power out of? Thanks for your replies

im 6ft 225lbs and have a 2004 raptor and i rode a yfz and there great if your climbing hills or scremin throught the sand dunes but for trail rideing i would get the raptor and the raptor is suited well for a larger rider. I think the raptor is the most versatile machine out there because it has the bottm end grunt to do about n e thing and u can build them for about ne power band u want and u get reverse.

I would go with the raptor, because the ergos on the YFZ don't suit your height and weight. The YFZ has faster acceleration, and the raptor has the torque. They are both fast, the raptor having a slight advantage in top speed.
The raptor is way more comfortable than the YFZ and has reverse. The YFZ, with just a slip-on, is a monster. The raptor too, but the YFZ takes this one. Though, you could make the raptor into a faster machine with all those kits they have out. Tough decison you have here pal. Good luck!

They are both Yamahas, so they have to be fast!

mine old man has a raptor and he's about 250. he loves that thing compared to my shee, which i wouldn't trade 4 anything. you can get good deals on used raptors since it seems everyone weants the new 450. way over rated to me. to small of a bike.

The YFZ easily, it's lighter so you could control that thing in the air, it also has softer landing than the raptor since it has some nice shocks from factory. But becareful, I seen some guys on YFZ's doing some maad air and braking their axle, that's why I'm buying a Dura Blue axle.
