EVERY THING ABOUT THIS BIKE WORKS SO WELL.

 

I don't know what's wrong here in Phoenix but dealers are charging in the upper $7000's to $8000. One dealer I talked today is charging $7859. Almost $700 of that is setup. What a bunch of crap! You guys have it made wherever you live.

 

with an extended warranty you are takin a big gamble. they dont cover many things, any thing on it that moves isnt covered, and if somethin does break chances are its goin to be your fault which they dont cover. and when somethin breaks it will probably be cheaper to pay for out of your pocket when the time comes. i was goin to get one for my blaster after all the problems i had on my lt80 but i decided not to when i figured in all those factors, oh ya and if somethin breaks that works on/with an aftermaket they dont cover that either

i just paid 9197.00 otd into my garage here in south africa.
the reverse is too fast , a lot of riders are going to roll the raptors when in reverse.
the air filter setup is worse than the banshee and that is the only things i dont like.
the raptor is a mean beast.

Paid 6499 plus tax and got the extended warranty that covers engine, exhuast, radiator, electrical system, and any problems that are deemed to be factory defect. In totall the warranty is 36 months added on the standard 6 month factory warrantys. In total for 42 months. The monthly payments work out to $168.00. A great deal if you ask me.

 

mgrigsby22 - I had a deposit on a raptor, but I found a shop which had one in that no one bought. So I went and bought it. All I can say is SWEEEEEET! Do you have directions to any of those places you listed to go riding? Are all of them on www.txmud.com?

I paid 6749 OTD for mine. I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico and the local dealer was charging 7500 with out set-up, tax, title, or lincense. I went 65 miles to the east (alamogordo) and got it for 6749 OTD. I think the bike is awsome. not sure about the plastic skid plates, but we will see. I think I want a twist throttle too.

 

RaptorDFW, Can you e-mail me the shop where you bought your Raptor? Maybe I can put a deposit on the next Raptor that they will be getting in. Do you think the smaller, less known dealers will be the most likely to have a Raptor not pre-sold?

 

I think I'll head out to rocky ridge on sunday now that my DS is back in action.
