My blaster just got the following part

wisco 240kit
fmf powercore 2
banshee carb
K&N filter
HIgh flow jets and reeds
a twist throttle with a new needle
a 14 tooth front sprocket

And we run mix with 20$ oils and premium gas

Ok after awhile of running on the trials for a little bit i want to floor it and go but it seems
to sputter a bit and my friends 1989 250ex bone stock honda is beating me!!!!! MY dad says it
"loading up" and the guy at the shop thinks im where nuts WHAT DO I DO IM SICK OF
GETTING BEAT BY A 14 YEAR OLD 4 STROKE[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

I think they call it "Rejetting" but I could be wrong........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Maybe that banshee carb doesn't belong there.

 

I thought a 250ex was a new model.............or has that been around for a while??

My bad, the oldest year is a 2001. He probaly meant 250X.

 

If you haveny already,,, try removing the air box lid.

 

I'm guessing the banshee carb doesn't agree with your set up.

 

What are you running for jets? Sounds to me like your way off.

 

Hmmmm, what's up with this "Banshee carb" thing? I thought the Blaster had the same carburetor as the Banshee.... The Banshee just has two of them.... The stock Banshee carbs are Mikuni round slide VM26SS models... Dosen't the Blaster come with a 26mm carb stock?
