Just got a Raptor 350

Welcome to the forums man. Congrats on the new ride! I agree though, let her warm up then run it like you stole it. Theres a website with a guy who's broken in over 500 motors by letting it warm up then running it very hard. You can see the pistons after the break in, they look brand new with the rings in perfect shape. From now on, thats how I'm breaking in any 4stroke quad I have. Don't go buy how yamaha says. Just let her warm up, run it hard, then after about 2-3 tanks, give it an oil change and your set. Just remember to do regular oil change and check all the bearings replacing when needed and you'll never have a problem with the quad or the motor. Don't be surprised if you find some metal in your oil every time you change it, however. These motors are known to do that. As long as it isn't an excessive amount, you'll be fine.
Have fun and be safe!

Hey everyone, I am 'the wife'. I haven't been nearly riding as long as Brian, as a matter of fact I only started August 28th when we got the Ozark, but I LOVE it. If I go with 22's how much low end will it kill? I'm sure for trail riding it would hurt to loose a little low end grunt.
I tried to throw some rooster on her but she would fall for it. :-)
