Default What to cut plastic with?

I used a dremel at first then a file to get the rough edges then some 220 to 320 sand paper to smoothe it all down. I used some pin striping tape to make a line where I wanted it to be then used the dremel just about an 1/8 of an inch away just in case it slipped which it does then used the rest of the items as stated above to finish it off. I cut them fenders all the way off and when you look at my bike from the front it looks like a motorcycle with 4 wheels !! I used a razor blade. Depends how much trimming you need to do. Razors only work well if it's a small amount...

Default What to cut plastic with?

I did a good ammount of cutting on my quadzilla and I found its not the quickest but a manual jig saw is what works best for a first cut. From there I dremel it down where it isnt quite even then i use a fine grade sandpaper to smoothe it out. Mine look pretty good. Just make sure that you dont slip with the dremel. if you dont have a dremel just use a rough grade sandpaper then fine grade but dremel is quicker. I found when cutting a lot of plastic with the dremel the pastic got hot and started melting isntead of being shavings and its a pain sometimes.

I use tin snips, a dremel, and sandpaper.
My friend uses a jig saw and sandpaper.

Apply, masking tape, draw a line on it and use a hand (electric) Jigsaw. File edges when done. Also, as someone mentioned, have someone hold the plastic to eliminate the shaking.
