squeaky front brakes on Raptor 80
#1
We are looking at buying a 2004 Yamaha Raptor 80. We test drove it today and the front brakes were squeaky. The guy said that was normal with those types of brakes. It hasn't been ridden in a while. Other than that, the atv rides smoothly and looks great. Any comments about the brakes?

yea thats common on any quad...just take some wd-40 or sumtin and spray it on anything that moves while riding....also if its used and it runs great check the plastic and see if there are any deep scratched on the fenders... that usually means hes flipped it

Thanks so much, that helps a lot. There are very few scratches on the plastic. It has the original tires with quite a bit of thread left. We're guessing this hasn't been ridden that much. We're paying $2000. Does that sound fair for a 2004 Raptor 80 that's in really good shape?

i think yur paying to much for. it doesnt matter if its never been riddenits almost 2 years old the price has only dropped 600$. when that quad leaves the lot it comes down 25% in value... make an offer for 1750 to 1800$ thats the blue book price
