I recently purchased a 2005 Yamaha Kodiak 4 X 4. The Yamaha Oil Filters are $14 each. Does anyone have a cross reference for a Fram, Wix, Bosch or other quality filter that will fit my ATV? The owners manual list the ATV as a YFM400FAT.

I couldnt find a listing for a 2005, but it should be the same as a 2004. The yamaha number for a 2004 is 5gh-13440-00-00. If the 2005 is the same, then use this site to find replacement filter numbers.

Ive been using the bosch 3300, they are about 3.50 at autozone, for a 2004 kodiak.

i know if you own a raptor 660 that fram makes a filter that fits very well
it is part number 6607
