or you need to have your valves adjusted , take it to the shop and see what they think it is

I have no clue, i looked down the barrel of my carb and it looks realy clean, im also a fanatic with air filter cleaning/maintence. See i don't want to have to bring it back, i hate "selling out" to a dealer. Anyone know where i can get a pdf of the service manual on valve adjusting.

I dont know anything about the rap. 350 airbox, but it sounds exactly like what my suzuki was doing when I accidently didnt seat the lid properly.

I founf something on raptor tranny about valve adjustment for the 660, would almost the same apply to the 350? Im used to working on cars, not bikes.

Ok i tore into it and adjusted everything up real nice, the exhaust valve was way too tight, gotta do it again because i hear some ticking still, sucks that i have to drain the oil again.

Got it running right again, thanks to everyone for the help. Man what a diffrence .007mm of clearence can make.

Great to hear you got it worked out etc

If you have trouble with the manual info dont forget its the same 350 that was in the warrior since 87 so there should be plenty of info all over the place.

Yeah i found it online for a warrior, i only wanted to look at some pictures of what i was getting myself into, once i had an idea i just winged it. Now hopefully on monday i can rip it all apart again and install my pipe/intake/jets.
