Plow/Winch on Kodiak '04 450

I have a Warn 2000 lb. winch on my 2004 Kodiak 450. What's the best route on putting a plow on it? Should I use the winch with it? Or should I have a manual lift installed? Please help.

man i have a 05 kodiak 450 with a winch and plow.... wouldn't go any other way than using the winch with it.... it is Cats a$$.... i love it... why work harder if you don't have to? i use mine for plowing snow... man... so much faster than a shovel!!
