Weird Sound coming from Raptor

Well if your chain was too tight then you might have bent the crank shaft...... Also, check the rear sprocket area for loose bolts and bent sprocket. If all else fails, take the chain off and run it in gear and see if the sound is still there.

You know those spinning trays, like the ones for ur spices in the kitchen , does it sound sort of like that when u spin it, because if thats the sound you are talking about then it is your chain hitting your skid plate, thats what the dealer told me, I have taken my skid off to clean it but never drove without it, try taking it off and see if thats the same thing. It only happens when the chain spins, and the faster you go the louder it gets, and it almost sounds like its coming from the front left tire, at least thats what I thought it was.
Hope that helps.

I think the chain might be too tight now, but I was getting that sound before the spocket change. I ordered a new chain just incase. Yea, I got off all the rubber chain rollers, I took off plastic chain guide. I even took off the front sprocket & chain. I started to rev it & there was no sound, but a big gust of oil came out right where the front sprocket goes. A friend of mine suggested it might be the bearing as well just as you Turtler. Given all this evidences, would you all agree I could change the bearing behind the front sprocket? Or could it be a possible camshaft issue? Is that hard to do?

Yea, the probably started minutes before the teeth broke on my stock front sprocket. The noise started, chain fell off..Teeth were broke..Sound is still there with the 14 teeth sprocket.
