Weird Sound coming from Raptor

Default Weird Sound coming from Raptor

The noise was gone. But like I said in a earlier post, it only makes that sound when the chain in on & moving.

The longer chain may take care of your problem. Hopefully you have not gutted your output shaft bearing.

With the oil leaking through the drive axle and the sound being made under chain load, you most likely need to replace the oil seal and bearing for the drive axle. Make sure the drive axle is straight and there is no galling on the bearing and seal area of the shaft.

ok, thats sounds about right. I have a new chain coming. And while I'm at it I will change the bearing & oil seal. Nothing would be worst but to be leaking oil 10 miles in the middle of no where. Thanks alot guys for your assistances. I'll keep Ya posted.

Also, dont forget, there is an O-Ring right behind the gear as well and if you dont change that oil will definitely leak from your sprocket area as well. Good luck and let us know how that goes. Be sure NOT to tighten your chain tooo TIGHT.
