2001 350 warrior... i took the piston out and all the skirt from the piston pin down is gone and some chunks above the pin are gone. it must have been going alittle at a time befor a big piace came off and i heard the noise, becouse there is flakes all in the oil. how do i get the whole thing clean? what berings should i replace? do i need to remove the moter to clean?what are your suggestion??

I suggest a full tear down, and while your at it you might as well throw a 365 kit in.

i was thinking about the 365 kit were would be the best place to get the best price?

What noise did you hear before you thought to take the piston out. Was it burning a lot of oil or loss of power or just the noise it was making. I did an oil change recently and found aluminum filings in the oil filter and I dont know where they are coming from. My bike looks to be running OK but I have only had it fot a short time also its a 350 Warrior

Get used to the metal in your oil filter, thats common for these motors. I did my first oil change and was shocked to see how much metal was in there.

it was a loud clanking from a big piece of piston that was getting hung up in the crank

it was a loud clanking from a big piece of piston that was getting hung up in the crank
mine did that, then it went KA-POW! and died right there
