im looking for people that just beat the thing, and tell me how its holding up...
i was harsh on my kodiak with 10-15ft jumps (height)........ that and the theory of if u dont make it over the first time....hit it harder. i always made it
kodiak was ok, just busted balljoints, broke the rear swingarm, stripped the axle.......thats about it.
considerin 5200 miles of my abuse....its amazing.

i don't ride mine really rough but there's been times where i've been rough on er...she holds up pretty well to me...i've put on about 500 miles on mine since i bought it...i bought it in july of 2004...i don't push the limits on it though because i know that eventually i will break axles or something like that...but these machines sure can hold their own in their ability to hold up to extreme riding conditions...

I rode mine pretty rough through some deep mud/water last weekend and it held up pretty well...considering it was almost submerged. The only complaint I had was the v-belt started to slip after I had the thing buried. I drained and cleaned out the v belt housing and she appears to be running fine.
As far as jumping the quad.. I probably won't go anymore than a couple feet due to the weight and size of the quad. The suspension is great so I don't think anyone will have a problem as long as they keep it from bottoming out.

I wouldn't say I'm the hardest rider out there in the world, but I will say this. I find great joy and no fear when I'm approaching a 15-20 foot table top on my grizzly, and not holding back. I have hit plenty of trees, rolled the machine over nummerous times, and the machine keeps wanting more. The only costly replacments for me have been the half shafts. I've had to fix them probaly close to three or four times around. If youre going to ride hard I would strongly suggest that you go to an aftermarket thicker shaft, with Gas filled shocks, upgrade your brakes. Thoes are a few of my suggestions. Oh, and if you can invest in a snorkel, they look funny, but you really don't know how deepp that river and mud hole really is until it's to late.
