Default header pipe heat shield after Jet Hot

I had my header jet hot coated a few months ago. Well, when I put it all back together, I couldn't figure out HOW in the &*@! to get that heat shield back on. It's the new "improved" one that comes with the heat fighter kit. Anyone have ANY suggestions?

I'm of the impression that I don't really need it since I have that coating, but I would prefer to have it on there
