I'm looking at buying a +2 swingarm for my raptor, probably a tucker pro, not sure though. What do you think about using the stock rear shock. I know a longer swingarm will put more force on the stock shock. What do you guys think about it? Oh yeah i wiegh 240

I'm runnin a +4 on mine with the stock shock with no major problems. I weigh 165, I stiffened the shock all the way and it still sags a little more than I'd like in the rear but nothing bad enough to cause problems. Judging from mine, anything over +4 I would say get a new shock. At the stiffest setting it still sags an inch er two more than it should even with my low weight. Your +2 should work perfect

The stock shocks are junk. Particularly the rear. I run a +1 1/4" with the stock rear shock. I have a 60' uphill that it bottoms on every time. I haven't gone to the extreme of cranking the pre-load to the max, but I doubt that will help. I'm just going to replace it this spring. Even on trails, cruising hard in the powerband in 4th, and it bottoms on washouts and sudden dips. I only weigh 185. What type of riding are you doing?
