What's your thoughts?

 

If the right rider got the bike with a strong Yamaha sponsored team there's no doubt this thing would give that 250r a run for thr title. This will be the first ever domination of a 4 stroke over a 2 stroke. This is my opinion. I have seen many fast moded out 250r's on tracks and trails. After 7 hours riding time on a stock raptor I realize this quads potential. This will be a contender for the title.

 

I personally think they will do well due to their power and size. Wouldn't doubt if Baker or one of those other Yamaha guys trade that 426 for one. This thing sorta reminds me of a highly modded EX with better looks!

Personally I think its gonna get smoked, first off the Raptor has to run in an open class, 416cc's is the largest 4-stroke allowed to run in the 250 class that means the Raptor wil be up against 505ex's and 500 stroker Banshees and 350 250r's the Raptor will not stand a chance the 4-strok class is a different story though, as is the GNCC's. The Raptor will probably kick *** in the open class in cross coutry.

 

I think you are exactly right. I think if one of the top pros switches over, they would have an excellent chance at the title.
