I just did 3 fifteen minute heat cycles and rode it no more than 3/4 throttle for about 3/4 of a tank and then I started racing Banshees

Good thing I can adjust the throttle to open only 3/4, I can't seem to keep from pegging the throttle when riding.

The bike cant drop below something like 3000 RPM for the break in, I never went under half throttle for this. I did the heat cycles also when I got my new cam, I think I let it cool back down for about a half hour. Best thing to do is find a nice long straight streach of land (like a road) and just cruise down it keeping your RPM's up for about 15 min.

I had the worst luck when I was doing this too cause after putting the engine back in I didn't get the master link on the chain put on all the way (big oops) and on the long straight streach the link came undone and ALMOST broke my case! It ended up balling up at the countershaft like a rubberband...very lucky for me that it didn't hurt anything. Thats just another reason to make sure you got everything put back together right before you start your break in good luck

I must be missing a page of instructions. I don't see where I have to remove the master link. Who has the best instructions of cam removal and install?

I used the top end dissasembly instructions from Raptortranny.com and they were pretty good. Better than the manual anyway.

UPDATE
I did the cam and new piston and it worked great. I was concerned about how loud it sounded over the stage 1 cam. I broke it in. Adjusted valves, road for a weekend and it had more power than before. But here is the kicker I decided to adjust my valves again (noise). So after I took the covers off, I decided to look at my decompression pin. pin was sticking out (good). So I turned it over so I could see in the hole you put the pin and I say the flat spot on the rod. Yep had it 180 out. How, I try not to try to explain things I can do. So I tore it apart and fixed it. Pulled the weights and and it was working correctly (a step I did not check the first time0. I have a question am I going to see any better performance? It was running good and strong, but was noisy.
