I would normally tell you to search but I'm having a good day. The yfz doesn't have a hrc kit, thats only for the R, but stock to stock the YFZ has a slight advantage in speed and power. the seat could be fixed by adding foam, there's this specail place to it, but don't remember what's it called.

did you sit on the 05 yfz because its supose to be more comfy then the 03-04 seat. also being small i would say get thr yfz but on the other hand im 6'3" and bought the honda installed the hrc kit and absolutly love it. its all about what YOU like.

the 05 seat is a little softer but not much. your not going to get the seat soft enough to be comfi these quads are designed to
rip up the trails and the seat compound allows the rider better control.
ive ridden just about all makes out there and i agree that the yfz seat is hard but when i need to turn up the heat and ride i wont
take for my yfz seat its about the only seat that doesnt get in the way.

You could order 1inch of foam from somewhere and install it on your stock seat, or you can get a new cover with foam. Check out Jettrim.com , I have their blue/silver/black seat w/1" of foam on my YFZ, lets say its way better then stock seat.
