Default Aftermarket Shifter for Raptor

I noticed on my Rapter there is some sort of funky linkage in the shift lever. If I replaced the shift lever is there anything I'm going to notice? Will it be easier or harder to shift?

a direct shifter will give you a positive long throw feeling when you shift

do a search on direct shifter in the Yamaha forum

Yep I purchased both the Pro Design and the IMS for my raptors and really like the shifting better. Way quicker.

are there any major faults or advantages between the IMS and the Pro design that you noticed? Just curious.

Actually the IMS I thought shifted better. I had to get used to the Pro Design myself.

Pro design weighed less than the IMS by a few ounces.

Prodesign has more bling thats why the price is about 70- the ims is about 25- ish ... I think but not positive that the ims is a little bit shorter than the prodesign and maybe shorter than stock.. i felt that my shoe wouldn't fit?? i dont know the exact mesurements but somthing like that. but it shifts like a gem now!!!!
