I'm sorry, is that 48 months since the day you buy it? Or is it after whatever short time warranty it comes with standard.

How much do the extended warranties usually cost anyway?

thanks again....

So you are saying that the Kawasaki KFX400 is "way better and faster" than the Raptor 350? I thought the Raptor 350 was the best in it's class?

Anyone have anything to say about this?

the raptor 350 dosn't really have a class, its a 350. The other bikes are 400's. so naturally they will perform better.

That's only 50cc's at the most does that really mean that the KFX400 is that much faster? How does it compare in handling, accessories, and all around performance?

50cc's is a whole motor in some cases so yes it is that big of a difference. The motor in the 350 was designed in the 80's, its aircooled, like choppers, only has 2 valves and dosn't make that much power, the rappy makes around 22hp stock. The more modern 400's are usually watercooled, have 4 valves and make more power, around 30 hp for most. The rappy handles very good, is a very capable trail bike and is alot of fun, its just outclassed by the 400's. A few mods will help you keep up, and riding ability has alot to do with it. In term of handling, i think the 400's and the rappy are evenly matched, reliability is what the 350cc motor is know for, im not sure on the 400's but i would assume they are the same. In terms of hp,the 400's have it beat.

Your'e right. Sorry, I'm still new to the ATV phenomenon that exists. I should have known that there are even 50cc engines out there like for kids bikes.

Maybe I'll look at Kawasaki's KFX400. How are they in price compared to the Raptor 350? I may just go for the one with the best reliability record which is???

thanks...

the 350cc is a tank, you'll never blow that motor. A raptor 350 is 4700, the 400 is 5300.
