Sorry for not being informative, the "Z", is the Suzuki Z400, and the "preddy" is made by Polaris and is called the Predator 500. These are both good quads that will keep up with your buddies quads. And you hit the target, you will eventually outgrow the 350, and trust me, you will learn quickly, even my girlfriend learn how to ride the raptor with my supervision of course.
Of those 2 quads you mentioned, which one is the most reliable, better handling, better performance quad? I need to get my fiance' on a quad to see what she's been missing all her life...lol.. Don't know if she can handle falling though b/c sooner or later everyone falls....

Oh, and how much do those quads run for?

thanks...

LOL. Well, the reliability part, is based on how well you maintain your quad, by that I mean changing the oil on time, cleaning the airfilter, etc. They are both reliable if taken care of. The predator is more faster, quicker, and overall more power. Stock to stock, the predator would probaly take it any where. And handling, the Suzuki Z400 is going to be comfortable for sure, but they both handle good since they both have some nice set of shocks of front. You wont go wrong with one of these quads, they are both high performance quads, and been around pretty long to put some aftermarket parts in them, but don't worry about that right now because you first need to learn how to control the power of the atv. I posted some links, so you could see them, they are both pricey, but you could lower them a bit. It's an adventure having an ATV, it's fun, and I'm sure your fiance will love it too.

Also if they are to expensive, there's always use quads going really cheap.

Sorry if i came off wrong, i wasn't trying to lure you into buying a slower bike. I persoanlly have that problem, trying to keep up with my friends banshee, hence the modding. Personally what i have now is good enough for me, its got enough to rip around on trails, im currently trying to make the bike handle better since i want to try some mx next season. I only started riding recently, so i know where your coming from, it will be a little scary at first but you'll get used to the power and then want more. Good luck with whatever you buy and hope i can help again.

I bought the 05 350 Raptor Special Edition for $4599 before taxes and the $90 prep fee in memphis, tn. The red and white raptor 350 was selling for 4399. I found one dealer listing the red and white for 4199 before taxes, but they were trying to charge a $300 prep fee.
