well i will find out for you when i get to try mine out saturday. i got it today for my birthday. but i'll have to do it when my parents arn't lookin. and by the way how long does it take to break in a yfz and ho wshoul di do it?

 

they are the fastest stock quads yes, but think about it! their made for racing so its a bit lengthier and the front end is made to stay on the ground so id imagine they arnt good at wheelies

 

i can get all my sport quads up in any gear at anytime (just about anytime on the predator) and ride it forever. zim the quadzilla is the fastest stock quad

 

Drive it like ya stole it and change the oil a lot.

What do you mean by the fastest, because the yfz dosent have the fastest top end like blind side said, but great acceleration.

 

I have an 04 YFZ450 with a sparks pipe, ron woods intake, no lid, rejetted, and the cam mod. I can pull power wheelies in 4th gear on level roads with ease. The yfz doesn't have a good balance point as it is so low, but it does have more than enough power and a long rev range so it is easy to keep power wheelies going for a long time. As far as speed compared to other quads. My buddy has a raptor with a full DMC pipe, pro design with k&n and no lid. when we race I will pull like crazy on him until I top out, then over the course of about half a mile he will slowly walk by me going about 2 mph faster. The yfz doesnt' ahve the fastest top speed, but nothing that isn't extensively modded out accelerates it.
