Default banshee 420 questions

hello again, i was going to look at a banshee tomorrow, its a 420cc setup i don't know if its the long rod or not and was wondering if someone can give me some info on the 420 setup.like how reliable is it? what makes it a 420 cc like how long of a rod and what size pistons equal420? it has 17 cc domes on it right now but i don't want to run on race gas what size cool head would you recommend for the bike to run pump gas?also any other info or comments on a 420 setup would be appreciated.i know there are alot of variables in the equation but im just trying to get some info on the 420 setup before i buy it. any other question i need to ask this guy when i go to check out the banshee?

thank you for any help you can give me

Default banshee 420 questions

I had a 420 and it was very reliable. It would however get hot sometimes trail riding in 90 degree temps. My 420 kitted Banshee was actually a 404 cc engine. On the first bore it was 69 mm pistons with the stock 54 mm stroke. Mine was a long rod kit, I think the rod length was 115 mm (5 mm longer). You should be able to bore it to almost 430 cc (71 mm).

As far as dome size, I'm clueless. I was running the stock head machined for pump/race gas mix.
