my dad just paid 7300 for a limited black 05 grizzly. he could of got a normal one for 6900. this is out the door prices plus sales tax. i hate those dealerships that have all those extra charges like putting it together and shipping..

I just picked up a red 2005 Grizz with a winch for $6750. Yamaha is also running some great financing deals...I got zero percent financing for one year and no money down.

Oh yea and don't believe the dealerships when they say that they are losing money on the winch because Yamaha is offering them for $69...It's just another way not to take more money off of the bike.

Default Price of 2005 Grizzly

I just picked up my 2005 black SE Grizzly this past saturday so I know exactly what it cost me. I'm not sure if those other prices where truly "out the door" While we were haggling on the price we moved between haggling on sticker price, haggling on fees and such, and haggling on the warrenty price until we got to a price that we could agree on. I think my final sticker price was $6,900....green would have been $6,600.

when all was said and done I had paid just over $8,200 when I drove away.

let me tell you what that included

the grizzly, obviously......................................... .......................... $6,900
winch............................................. .............................................. $ 70
winch installation...thought that was BS but oh well................... $ 125
3 year Yamaha warrenty.......................................... ................... $ 550
taxes............................................. ............................................... $ 420
NJ registration...................................... ........................................ $ 50 (??)
and all of the fees that that tack on............................................. $ 100 (??)

maybe I overpaid if everyone else is really getting "out the door" for $7200 but I'm very happy with what I paid....especially because it includes the 3 year warranty.

I hope this helps...I certainly could have used info like this before walking into the dealer.

by the way...I've only had one day on the machine but so far I'm lov'n it....can't wait till the break in period is over and I can really push the thing.

have fun riding,

Jay
