I doubt Yamaha would use the Polaris motor. The polaris motor is a side-by-side twin, same as on my 700 EFI.

Yamaha has some good engineers, I'm sure they are working on the EFI. My 2005 Polaris 700 EFI is awesome. I live in New Mexico and ride at high altitude and changing all the time, so the EFI is a must and great....

waiting to see what yamaha comes out with, should be interesting...

I hope they make a 800, then like a 1000. I know a 1000 wont be aloud on state trails, and stuff. But most people dont use their atvs on state trails and things like that.
